Privacy policy
How I look after the details you share with me, in plain language, under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Last updated: 5 November 2026
Who is responsible
The responsible party for your personal information is Vanessa Griggs, trading as Time Capsule Photography, 37 Camden Green Crescent, Kraaifontein. You can reach me on info@timecapsulephotography.co.za or on +27 73 310 9054.
What I collect, and why
When you use the enquiry form, I collect your name, WhatsApp number, the type of shoot, your preferred date and anything you write in the message box.
I use this only to reply to you, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, plan and deliver your session. I do not sell your details or use them for anything unrelated.
Who handles it for me
Web3Forms delivers your enquiry to my email inbox. It passes through their service on the way.
Amazon Web Services hosts this website, and its files are served to you through CloudFront. The website does not store what you type in the form.
If you contact me on WhatsApp, Meta’s terms and privacy policy apply to that chat. If you email me, your email provider’s terms apply as well.
Your photos
I love sharing beautiful moments, but only with your permission. Unless you tell me otherwise, I may use a few images from your session in my portfolio or on social media. Just let me know before or after your shoot if you would rather I did not, and I will respect that.
Cookies and tracking
This website has no analytics and uses no tracking or advertising cookies. I do not follow you around the internet.
How long I keep it
If an enquiry does not lead to a booking, I delete it within 12 months.
If you book a session, I keep your booking, invoice and payment records for 5 years, as South African tax law requires, and then delete them.
Your rights
You may ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to how I use it.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforeg.org.za.
Contact me about your information
Write to info@timecapsulephotography.co.za or message me on WhatsApp. I will answer as soon as I can.
